Private Airboat Rides, Kenansville, FL

Experience ID: 198

Experience the Everglades on the wonderful airboats, touring the seemingly never-ending marshlands. Being the largest tropical wetland ecosystem anywhere in North America you can say there is a fair bit to explore. A historical delight as you will see what the rest of Florida used to look like around 1000 years ago. Seeing nature and wildlife at its best is an experience that can’t be bettered. There are protected species to look at and also endangered species.

Travel deep into the protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Get an in depth look at the Gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that can be found in the beautiful wetlands. After the ride, explore the amazing wildlife park full of zebras, watusi, deer, water buffalo, emu, wild boar and monster alligators. The Wildlife Park is included with your airboat ride. Visit the tropical bird aviary, hands-on alligator demonstrations, gift shop, 500ft sightseeing dock and nature trails.

FAQ

Are rides recommended for people with medical conditions?
Airboat rides can accommodate people with most medical conditions and disabilities. People in wheelchairs will be assisted with loading into the airboat. They also have two manual wheelchairs on site available to guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.

How fast do airboats go?
Racing airboats can reach speeds of over 130 miles per hour, but airboats gliding at over even 50 can be dangerous. They don’t go quite as fast on land as they do on water, and they should be used with caution, especially since they don’t have breaks!
