Do you have an appetite for culture? A taste for history? A craving for architecture? Then this fine food expedition combines them all under one roof. Walking around from location to location, you get some exercise too, always a bit helpful in counteracting some of these delicious calories you will be enjoying.
Whether you’re a Miamian or a tourist, you’ll discover some hidden architectural gems, hear some dramatic stories about South Beach’s history and, most importantly, get a taste of Miami. So, if you’re looking for a deliciously enlightening way to spend an afternoon in South Beach—join in on an expedition! This SoBe expedition will stroll you for a few hours through a selection of the best restaurants and cafes Miami Beach has to offer, incuding a walk through Miami’s historic Art Deco district.
- 3 hours and the tour will cover 1.5 miles.
- Groups depart at 11 am.
- The activity is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
- The tour is given no matter if there is rain or shine.
How much food is served?
This expedition serves enough food, that for most participants, lunch afterward is not necessary. Please know that the food is not intended to replace breakfast and lunch, so please consider eating breakfast before leaving the house.
Are beverages served during the event?
Drink tastings are included on the adventure —a hot beverage and a chilled beverage. Water is served at most tasting locations. There will not be beer, wine or cocktails served. If you feel like a beer or cocktail, it is best to wait until after the activity has finished in order to stay on schedule and respect the time of the rest of the group.
Where does it begin?
Begins in South Beach on Lincoln Road. The meeting point and directions will be disclosed upon ticket purchase.
Where does it end?
The tour ends just a block and a half from the starting point. A map is provided to all participants.
