This is a wonderful adventure for the whole family and a great introduction to the area. It is trully an eco-educational tour. The entire Everglades area, including the Park and the 10,000 Islands, is a wonderful place for wildlife, especially manatees, dolphins and birds. Marco Island is one the largest and most western island in this amazing area.
In comfortable captain's style seating and with a cooler for your drinks, you will be safely brought deep into the 10,000 Islands for an interpretive tour of the area. Not only will you be introduced to the great birding and wildlife in the area by the naturalists guide but you will also learn about the Everglades eco-systems, its rich heritage and long history. This tour limits each experience to six guests, so participants can expect an intimate experience in the wilderness.

When is the best time to go on this experience?
June through September, the morning experiences are preferred due to the temperature, afternoon thunderstorms and convective sea breezes.
What should I wear?
Clothing should be appropriate for the season and the day's weather. A light jacket is needed on most trips and protective footwear, that you don't mind getting wet, is a good recommendation.
