The Fuse It Studio is equipped with everything a warm glass artist needs. Besides learning new techniques you will be going home with enough knowledge to create stunning pieces which could become your new signature style.

You will be taken through the thoroughly enjoyable process of creating your very own piece of glass art from start to finish. Even absolute beginners will have beautiful pieces that they have designed and crafted themselves. This could be the opportunity to take your glass art to the next level! Everything is possible in the craft of glass fusing!


Duration:

  • 2-3 hours depending on how fast your work. 

Capacity:

  • 4 people maximum. 

Materials: 

  • All materials are included for most projects. You get to choose the subject and project.

Age:

  • 18 and older. Participants between 11 and 18 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.

  • Price amount is per person. An extra charge for every aditional person (student).

How is glass made?
Glass is made from sand and the different properties of each type of sand will provide the color and quality to the glass.

Is previous experience on glass fusing needed? 
No, this class will combine beginning and advanced students. Beginners will start with the basics like learning and experimenting with cutting edge techniques and designs. 

What is kiln-forming?
Can also be known as working with "warm" glass, this means that the working temperatures of kiln formed glass lies midway between the extremes of glass blowing ("hot" glass) and stained glass ("cold" glass). 

Are kilns safe?
When used the right way and according to the manufacturer's instructions, kilns are very safe.
